Close to the medieval village of Saint Cirq Lapopie, the Gîte du Domaine de Bach, a 19th century bourgeois house, entirely restored, bringing together modern comfort and character, welcomes you to its 100 hectares of forest in the regional natural park of the Causses du Quercy.
Surrounded by greenery, under the celestial sphere of the black triangle of the Quercy, the sparkle of the starts reaches us without being affected by the luminous halo generated by lighting. What a wonder, on summer evenings, when, in the deep darkness of the night, the Milky Way and all the starts come forward.
The Domaine de Bach invites you to reconnect with nature and authenticity. Come and discover the multiple facets of this region of character, hiking paths winding down the jagged cliffs of the Causses to shady strolls along the river banks; reconnect with an exceptional terroir. The land of Malbec, truffles and saffron, the region inspired André Breton with these words on his first visit: “J’ai cessé de me désirer ailleurs” (“I have ceased to wish myself elsewhere”).
